The AR-15 or the “black life” is a popular gun. It’s known for good and bad reasons. It all depends on your stand. Before we jump into exploring why you need an AR-15, let’s first understand it. The AR-15 is not the so-called “assault rifle” or “automatic rifle.” AR stands for ArmaLite Rifle, a company that developed it, while the “15” represents the model number 15. Also, it’s not fully automated but a semi-automatic.

Why does anyone need an AR-15? Why do over 10 million civilians own AR-15s? Does the constitution give the right to keep and bear firearms? If your answer to the last question is NO, this information is not for you. If your answer is YES, we can proceed to find “why’ you need an AR-15.

Here are reasons you need an AR-15:

1. The 2nd Amendment Act Allows it

One of the remarkable Bills of the constitution is the 2nd Amendment Act that states, “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The founding fathers found it significant for citizens to own guns. The government went further and introduced gun laws that regulate who can own a gun and who can’t and categorize what kind of weapon a citizen must not own. It’s legal to own an AR-15.

2. AR-15 is the best gun for self-defense

Unlike handguns, the AR-15 rifle is a powerful weapon for home defense forces. It’s lightweight, highly accurate, low recoil, and it’s easy to shoot. It’s so effective that EVEN women can handle the AR-15 with ease once they practice.

Remember, you have a natural right to protect your life. I understand the police have the same AR-15s to protect citizens, but in case of a home invasion, they will be a minute(s) away, and an intruder(s) will have harm if not kill you. What if you, a law-abiding citizen, had an AR-15 rifle to deal with the threat?

3. AR-15s offers versatility

The AR-15 doesn’t only offers home defense purposes but also is used for hunting and sporting. This is one of the reasons this rifle has gained popularity across a significant population. Do you need a rifle for participating in target shooting competitions? Do you need a rifle for hunting purposes? Do you need a rifle for self-defense? The ultimate and most effective solution to these questions is the AR-15.

A standard AR-15 will take care of your shooting all your shooting needs.

4. AR-15s are reliable and affordable

AR-15 rifles are reliable guns that will function if you take care of them. They will hardly fail you when you have a task at hand.

Walk into a gun store/shop and ask for AR-15 rifles, AR-15 parts, AR-15 accessories, or ammo (5.56NATO/.223 Rem), and you will indeed find them at reasonable prices.

Bottom line

The fact that the 2nd Amendment protects your right to keep and bear arms should not make you feel required to own a gun, particularly the AR-15. However, a law-abiding citizen who needs a gun for any of the three above discussed reasons should own one.
